Lady Jane's Garden
I took Lady Jane's Garden as an online class through the Shining Needle Society. It was designed and taught by Jackie du Plessis of It's Fine-ally Finished and quite literally called my name when I saw it. The kit was magnificent and the instructions very detailed. Click on the picture for a peek inside.
I made this Bride Bag and a matching Mother of the Bride Bag for my son's fiancee and her mother. My friend Leslye told me I needed to make the bags (I had never heard of a Bride Bag) and my son was the one that suggested the perfect fabric choice. St. Louis Cathedral is very prominent in the New Orleans toile, and this is not only where the wedding will be celebrated, but also where he proposed. Monogram Alphabet is by Barb Stewart. Italian Smocked Pin Cushion
I adapted this Italian Smocked Pin Cushion from Objet d'Art in Australian Smocking #91. It will be a four part program for GNOSAGA from Feb-May, 2011.
Molly Mine Purse and Accessories
I made this purse book and accessories for the GNO SAGA fundraiser to be held Oct 10, 2010. It was a ton of work, but a really fun project. Click on the picture to see the inside. Design is from www.mollymine.com
